Overview

The maglev blood pump is a revolutionary medical device featuring no friction and low shear force, which cannot be separated from the mechanical bearing-free design and centrifugal delivery mechanism. Applied with a highly biocompatible PC pump head and anticoagulant coating, it can reduce hemolysis and thrombosis in blood delivery scenarios such as ECMO and intraoperative extracorporeal circulation.

Applications

ECMO system

The ECMO system drives extracorporeal circulation of blood through pumping. The maglev technology-based (centrifugal) pump can minimize the damage to blood cells.

Intraoperative extracorporeal circulation

External devices are used for blood circulation by replacing heart temporarily in some major surgeries. The maglev blood pump can supply blood safely and stably.

Hemodialysis

The common roller pump of hemodialysis equipment can supply power through compression, which leads to serious damage to blood cells. On the contrary, the maglev blood pump can solve the pain spot above efficiently with its low shear force.
